Frequently asked questions
- How do I open my clipboard history?
- Press your global hotkey (set in Settings) to pop the history right at your cursor, or click the ClipMenu 2 icon in the menu bar.
- ClipMenu 2 can't paste into other apps.
- macOS requires Accessibility permission to paste for you. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and enable ClipMenu 2.
- What does the subscription include?
- The Mac App Store edition is a paid app with a 30-day free trial, then an auto-renewing yearly subscription. It unlocks the full app and iCloud sync of your clipboard history and snippets across all your Macs.
- How do I restore my subscription on a new Mac?
- Open ClipMenu 2 and choose Restore Purchases on the welcome screen, signed in with the same Apple ID.
- How do I manage or cancel the subscription?
- Open the App Store app → click your name → Subscriptions, or visit your Apple subscriptions.
- Where is my data stored?
- Your history and snippets stay on your Mac and in your own private iCloud database. We never receive them. See our Privacy Policy.
