See it in action

倉頡 + 速成 input

Both classic modes — full Cangjie (倉頡) and Simplex (速成) — with wildcard * matching when you don't remember every radical.

Frequency-ranked & adaptive

Candidates are ordered by how common they are, and the characters you pick rank higher over time — so your most-used words rise to the top.

Associated phrases (聯想字詞)

After you commit a character, Yahoo KeyKey 2 suggests the words that usually follow — so common phrases come together in a single keystroke.

What's new

Plain-language notes, newest first.

2.8.0
Press Space to confirm the code. In 速成, and in 倉頡 with the * wildcard, candidates appear before the code is finished, so Space flipped to the next page instead of confirming what you typed. A new setting makes the first Space confirm the code and stay on page 1 — press Space again to page, or 1–9 to pick. Off by default, and plain 倉頡 is unaffected. · Fixed: 三代倉頡 offered characters under the wrong code. Typing 人一弓口 (何's code) also offered 含, whose code is 人戈弓口. The bundled 三代 table came from an upstream merge that never removed duplicates, giving 800 characters a second, non-standard code; those extra codes are gone and every character keeps its real one. 五代倉頡 was never affected.

2.7.0
Page through 聯想 associated-phrase candidates. Use Page Up / Page Down to move between pages of associated-phrase suggestions. · Choose how you pick associated phrases. A new setting lets you select the associated-phrase key — plain Number keys or Shift+Number. · ⌘ and ⌃ shortcuts pass through. Keyboard shortcuts using ⌘ or ⌃ now reach the app instead of being swallowed by the input method.

In tribute

Yahoo KeyKey 2 is an independent, open-source rebuild in Swift, created in tribute to the original Yahoo! KeyKey (Yahoo!奇摩輸入法) — the Traditional-Chinese input method many Mac users loved. It carries that experience forward for modern macOS, released under the MIT License.
